Introducing Translating Medical Images
Updated: Aug 14, 2020
If you're looking for a translator specializing in medical imaging, you've come to the right place!
My name is Antoni, and I'm in charge of Translating Medical Images. I'm an ATA-certified English into Spanish translator serving:
US healthcare providers
My professional career took off in 2004 while living in Barcelona (Catalonia and/or Spain – take your pick). I worked for banks and IT companies for over ten years. In 2011, I started providing freelance language services. In 2016, I moved to Chicago and began specializing in the healthcare sector. Three years later, I relocated to Salt Lake City.
As I continued learning about medicine, I became more and more fascinated with imaging. That prompted me to apply to study for a degree in Radiologic Technology at Salt Lake Community College. I got accepted and will start classes in the fall of 2020. These are the main subjects that I'll be taking:
Radiology Anatomy & Procedures
In the meantime, I look forward to continuing to work with my clients and establishing new professional relationships with clinics and hospitals. That's why I've created Translating Medical Images.
Translating Medical Images can help you translate medical data, such as:
Health records (e.g., medical histories, surgical reports, discharge instructions)
Imaging reports (e.g., X-rays, MRIs, ultrasounds, CT scans)
Lab tests (e.g., complete blood counts, basic metabolic panels, urinalyses)
My goal is to bridge language barriers to help: 1) patients access healthcare information, and 2) healthcare professionals provide the right care to LEP patients.
Feel free to reach out to discuss your needs!
